Client Work > The Red Rose International Film Festival

I was given the opportunity to work with The Red Rose International Film Festival in partnership with Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D) as an internship in my junior and senior year (2024 — 2025).

During my internship, I got to Co-host PCA&D's Into the Darkroom Podcast. The podcast brings in both local and visiting artists and talk about their processes, inspirations, and what they are working on now. My junior year started out with helping create questions to ask the guests, while my senior year consisted of the technical aspects such as recording the audio and configuring it into a video format within Adobe's Premiere Pro to upload to Youtube.

My senior year, I was given a challenge by my supervisor Ryan Shank: the Executive Director of The Red Rose International Film Festival. I was to help mentor my Co-host Kaylyn Cuff, showing her the tricks around what to do in the internship, but also outside of the internship before I pass the touch to her.

I was also given the challenge to do a individual project that will help me within my future outside of the internship and school. Within this gallery is my task I was assigned. I given to do location scouting around Lancaster, PA, capturing the city's iconic locations that define the city’s story. Being able to look at the city with a closer eye, I was able to capture on why Lancaster isn’t just home — it’s a film set waiting for the next story to unfold for the next filmmakers of tomorrow.
